Possible Origins of Ayahuasca (originally posted 2015)

I first read this article a few months ago, but I wanted to repost it here because it gives such a well researched and different perspective about the possible origins of this amazing medicine: http://www.singingtotheplants.com/2012/04/on-origins-of-ayahuasca/

I am not sure if I agree with the article, which sometimes downplays the visionary quality of vine alone, but the idea that Ayahuasca use started after European arrival is very interesting in its possible implications for the motives of this plants spirit....

At the very least, and interesting read that made me think!
